Image sensors are used in the medical field primarily for their ability to capture high-quality images under low-light conditions and their high sensitivity. These characteristics make them particularly useful in Digital X-ray Imaging applications.
In the field of Digital X-ray Imaging, image sensor is utilized to enhance image quality and reduce radiation exposure. it brings significant improvements to digital X-ray imaging by providing high-quality images at lower radiation doses. Their enhanced sensitivity, high dynamic range, and noise reduction capabilities contribute to more accurate diagnoses while ensuring patient safety.
0.8K X-Ray TDI Linear Image Sensor
SH58K100XT is a XRAY TDI image sensor with high sensitivity and low dark current. It is developed for high-speed X-ray TDI imaging applications combined with scintillator film. The sensor has on-chip CDS blocks to reduce Fixed Pattern Noise (FPN) and on-chip 14-bit ADC blocks to digitize the pixel output. PGA blocks before ADC blocks amplify the pixel output signals with user programmed gain values. The image sensor has digital LVDS data output channel.
